Geo localization in AutoCAD 2017 & Automatic Travel

Hello, I work at the real estate cell of one of the largest financial audit firms in the world. The company has more than 5000 employees in La Défense. Today we want to switch to AutoCAD, we are currently working on Micro GDS in connection with the SWING database.

However, we face several difficulties, including the positioning of people. Our goal is to be able to easily move people from one office to another (from one area to another), either through an excellent table directly linked to the plan, or by including geographic data or constraints.

I specify that each person and each surface are represented by distinct blocks with many attributes on for each of the blocks. My questions are: On Autocad simple (not AutoCAD architecture), is it possible to move people from one point to another via an excellent array? Just changing the number of the office?

How do I make an extract of people with their positioning in an office on the plan? (other than by creating an attribute with the name of the office or is the person)? I hope to have made myself clear, do not hesitate to contact me to discuss it.

From my understanding you are trying to copy a number of elements which resembles people inside an AutoCAD drawing to another location

is that correct?

Hi !

Each person is in an office. This office number is displayed in the person's attribute.
But if this office number changes in the person's attribute, my block will not move.
I want to be able to move people (1 block = 1 person)
just by changing their positions in the attribute. Is it possible ?

I also have another problem with blocks of furniture.
I have several blocks for the same object. Example: desk 1, desk 2 ...
How can I quickly change all my blocks without deleting everything and start over?
