Where can I find freelance drafting work?
Good day, I have just been retrenched due to the COVID 19 pandemic, I have 12 years of experience as a draughtsperson for a Wet Services department. I am Experienced in CAD and Revit.
I was wondering where I can find freelance drafting work?
First off, sorry to hear about the retrenching. Wishing you and yours the best during these tough times.
As for freelance drafting work, there are plenty of websites that help freelancers look for clients and vice versa. My favorites are fiverr.com, freelancer.com, and upwork.com.
You might also want to look at online classifieds to find more permanent job opportunities. Lots of companies do work-from-home arrangements even before COVID-19, especially with drafting jobs.
Do note that it might be harder to find open projects these days, I doubt there are a lot of construction or renovation projects happening with pandemic happening. I wish you luck though and hope for the best!
