Here’s how to reset AutoCAD back to the default settings:

If you’re a Windows 7 users:

Click the Windows Start button (All) Programs Autodesk <product name> Reset Settings to Default.

Windows 8 should do the following:

On the Windows Start screen, right-click (or use the swipe up gesture from the bottom edge of the screen) and click All Apps. Scroll to the Autodesk section, and click <product name> Reset Settings to Default.

Windows 8.1

On the Windows Start screen, click the All Apps button located near the lower-left corner of the screen (or use the swipe up gesture from the bottom edge of the screen). Scroll to the Autodesk section, and click <product name> Reset Settings to Default.

In the Reset Settings – Backup message box, choose the option that you want.

 Hope this helps. 🙂
