Printing pdf file, line weights not printing correctly

My brother is trying to print a pdf with varying line thickness, but when it comes out of the printer, everything is a thick black line. It displays properly in the pdf but doesn’t print properly.

Solution:

1)Open Layer Manger

2)Below your autocad screen, there is a button LWT

3)toggle the preview of showing the lineweights of your drawing or not.

4)When printing, try the “dwg to pdf.pc3” first.

5)Open up the full Plot dialog box.

6)There is an >> button besides the help button that maybe hides a partial of your screen. Be sure to open it.

7)In the upper right corner there is a drop down box called “Plot Style Table”.

8)When you use the acad.ctb your drawing should be printed with an lineweight of “Use Object Lineweigth”.

The button besides the dropdownbox allows you to edit the style table

Hope this helps 🙂
