Repair and reinstall from the Control Panel (Windows Only)

Before removing the software, first try to repair your installation from the Windows Control Panel:

    1. On the Start menu (Windows), click Settings > Control Panel.
    2. In Control Panel, double-click Programs and Feature.
    3. Select the Autodesk product, and then click Uninstall/Change.
    4. When the installer launches, click Repair or Reinstall.
    5. Follow the prompts to either repair or reinstall the product.

To Perform a clean install you need to:

  1. Delete all remaining Files :
  • C:\Program Files\Autodesk\
  • C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\
  • C:\Users\All Users\Autodesk\
  • C:\Users\WINDOWS_ID\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\
  • C:\Users\WINDOWS_ID\AppData\Local\Autodesk\
The program folders should be clearly named.
  1. Clean out your TEMP files:
    1. Click the Windows Start button.
    2. In the Run box type %TEMP% and press Enter
    3. Highlight and delete all files. Ignore any files in use.

Hi there ColdGold,

Try to turn off your anti virus or add AutoCAD Executables to your list of exceptions; sometimes security programs block Help Access…

Maybe try to Repair your AutoCAD Installation, sometimes some files get corrupted or lack the proper administrative rights, or their registry entries get over written; either way, re-installing or repairing current installation might do the thing

Cheers!!!
