How can i lock my custom tool palettes in AutoCAD?
I use tool palettes properties == read only but i need to lock (AcTpCatalog.atc) with a password
No built-in way for users to lock custom TP’s in AutoCAD when other users are using the same software copy. You’ll need to place your content onto a server that has no read/write/delete settings for specific users. If you’re copying TP’s to each workstation, you’ll need to set the folder permissions in Window Explorer. Shared folders in a network have permissions controlled by the OS as well.
