Can I install AutoCAD on Windows 10?

When I attempt to install an AutoCAD trial on Windows 10 (AutoCAD_2017_English_Win_32_64bit_Trial_en-us_Setup_webinstall.exe) it doesn’t work.

When I open the .exe file the “open file –  security warning” appears when I click “Run”.

Then the process “Autodesk install now” starts then after 2-3 seconds it disappears or is terminated.

I once had AutoCAD installed to this PC but I had to restore the OS and update to Windows 10 (damn Microsoft forces you!).

I have also tried to install with UAC and windows defender completely disabled, and as administrator ut nothing works!

Does anyone have any tips? Thanks!

My system specs are:

CPU: I5-4460
GPU: R9-280
Motherboard: H97-M Pro 4
Storage: 120GB SSD
1TB WD Caviar Green
RAM: 10 GB

Hello

Sometimes this is caused by corrupted setup files.

I suggest you try to install using the offline installer instead from Autodesk Virtual Agent here:

Hope this solves your problem.

Good luck,
