    If you’re taking about AutoCAD NURBS surfaces, there isn’t a way to edit the weight of the vertices unless the vertices are part of an object that you used to create the surface in the first place. Try using splines (which you already know how to edit) to create NURBS surfaces and see how that goes.

    What you need to look at if you want to run multiple CAD programs at once are 1) CPU specs and 2) Memory (RAM)

    In this case, you have an Intel Core i5-9300H and 8GB of DDR4 RAM. Definitely good enough to have multiple programs open, but not the best.

    Try to see if the laptop has upgradeable RAM and consider doing so. As for the CPU, look at the number of cores – I think this one has 4. For laptops, this isn’t usually readily upgradeable, so try to see if there’s a version of the laptop that comes with better CPU specs and try to go for that.
