If you haven’t already, get some CAD software to edit the images and clipart as you need. There are a bunch of free ones on the internet, ones I would recommend are SketchUp, Draftsight, and LibreCAD among others.

Try to Recreate the drawing file. Got this from the official AutoCAD website:
- Create a new file from a standard DWT.
- Use the INSERT command to import the damaged drawing.
- Explode the resulting block.
- Enter LAYOUT and then choose Template.
- Select the original drawing file and click Open.
- Import the necessary layouts.
- Use WBLOCK to extract the drawing to a new file.

There’s is a way to natively copy the results in the dialogue box, but you can use the find function to look for the text in the CAD file itself and copy that.

As far as I know, there isn’t anything built into AutoCAD that does that automatically. Aside from manually going through each sheet and saving at as a different file, you can save each sheet to a different layout and try this out: https://apps.autodesk.com/ACD/en/Detail/Index?id=8797014408094829177&appLang=en&os=Win32_64&autostart=true&_ga=2.97100825.726262510.1574428890-324573846.1569387522
There might be some lisp files that you can use, but I don’t think there’s anything that can go around manually going through each sheet.

You can set the colors of all the objects in the reference to “ByLayer” by using the “SETBYLAYER” command. Afterward, it’s just a matter of changing the colors of those layers.

I think your best bet would be to get flat 2D drawings of the craft and tracing over them with the drawing tools. When it comes to modeling organic shapes in 3D, you’ll have to try surface modeling and play around with creating NURBS. Here’s a nifty video that should explain the process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyyWv9PuP5E

If you’re looking to convert make shadow boards, raster to vector conversion software would be your best bet. Try taking a look at Scan2CAD here: https://www.scan2cad.com/

No built-in way for users to lock custom TP’s in AutoCAD when other users are using the same software copy. You’ll need to place your content onto a server that has no read/write/delete settings for specific users. If you’re copying TP’s to each workstation, you’ll need to set the folder permissions in Window Explorer. Shared folders in a network have permissions controlled by the OS as well.

The “Set subobject filters” option would be available on the selection panel of your 3D ribbon tabs. If you don’t select a filter, the default would be that you select the entire object.

angelinajohn has a good point, there are a bunch of really good plug-ins that should help you with this. But if you’re looking for a native way to do it on vanilla Sketchup, try playing around with the Follow Me tool. For more organic surfaces, the Sandbox tools are great.
